The Marshall!


I had a lot of fun doing this one... I quite like his pose, I think it shows a lot of character, I'm pretty happy with how his hands turned out too.  Stay tuned for low poly!

The Assassin!


The Assassin character bust for the iPad game I'm currently working on.  I had a hard time modelling the pose of this character, it took me sometime to match it up nicely with the concept.  Zbrush image plane plugin saved my life! so thumbs up to the guys at Pixelogic for that!

Anyway, I enjoyed texturing this guy a lot...  painting at 256x256 can be quite fun.
I also started messing around with 8 MonkeyLabs Marmoset Toolbag, its a pretty powerful tool and recommend it for any game artist, I will defienlty be using it way more in the future so expect some nice real time renders coming soon.  It doesn't do much for flat diffuse only models but here's a render

Making of Heavy Metal Demon

Heavy Metal Demon!

I was really inspired by the model in Gnomon Workshop's 'Intro to Zbrush 4' so I decided to do my own demon!

Spent about 4 hours modelling it, and a further 2-3 for rendering and composite.  I'm currently editing screen cap footage, I recorded the whole process so check back soon for a few videos on the process.
